Hello there,

Hoping your long weekend was special indeed. Such a dramatic mix of weather with heavy rains and tornado warnings. All is well that ends well, and as I write, it has all the makings of a beautiful evening.

We were busy on Saturday putting in the last of the broccoli.  Lydia and Bjorke came in and leaned in to get that off the to-do list.  Excellent company to be sure 🙂  The squash field is starting to produce but is poised for a virtual abundance. I have never seen so many flowers with the bees happily dancing among the petals. Quite, quite beautiful 🙂  The rain this past week really did do a lot for us. The sweet corn jumped, and the potatoes still look great. Just a few weeks away for them now.  A few ripening tomatoes on very heavy laiden plants, which is exciting. The eggplants are flowering, and the onions look terrific.  I am going to take a chance and do a little bit more direct seeding…and then that will be that.  All in all, like the Rideau that we back onto ..the pace is a little bit on the meandering side … and in the moment that is worth savouring.

So without further ado… your share awaits, so I’ll send this off..  enjoy 🙂
